Salwant Jahangir is 53 years old, lives in Amritsar not far from the mountains of North India. Salawant is a naturalist at heart and deeply reveres and worships nature in all its forms.
 

In the deep silence

in the deep silence of
the mountains
your image glows and unfolds
and i know that
i have touched you

in restlessness i
wander
over forbidden peaks and
frozen lakes
and hearing the soft
murmur of some hidden
brook
i know deep inside
i have seen you
